Prices

All prices displayed are in Australian Dollars. On international orders any possible GST, VAT or customs duties, fee or tariffs are NOT included in the displayed price and are the responsibility of the customer. 

 

Payment

Maple Hatton accepts payment through Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal. All online transactions are securely protected and encrypted by the use of SSL-technology. All American Express transactions incur a surcharge of 3.19% of the total amount. Visa & MasterCard transactions incur no surcharge. Maple Hatton does not store any credit card information which is handled by our third party payment processors who are a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards compliant company.

 

Cookies

To make our website easier to use and more enjoyable we use cookies. Cookies allow us to do things such as keep track of what items are in your shopping cart, monitor traffic to our website and tailor our offers to you. You can deny the use of cookies or delete existing cookies by accessing the settings menu in your internet browser.

 

Copyright

The content on this website is copyright protected. This includes but is not limited to the images, text, graphics, banners, software and design which is owned by their respective owners and is protected by international copyright law.

Delivery

Maple Hatton reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order. We may in instances of large volume orders seek verification before accepting an order. The receipt of any information electronic or otherwise by Maple Hatton does not signify an acceptance or confirmation of your order.

 

Gift Cards

No coupons or promotional offers can be applied when purchasing Gift Cards. Please note that gift cards are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash and expire after one (1) year.

 

Applicable law and disputes

You agree that any disputes that arise from the use of this website or the purchase of any of our products will be governed by the laws of Australia and the state of New South Wales.

 

Force Majeure

Orders may be cancelled, altered or expected delivery dates delayed with neither the customer nor Maple Hatton being entitled to any compensation in the event of Force Majeure. Events of Force Majeure are considered to be any event or set of circumstances out of Maple Hatton’s control such as:

-        Natural disasters - fire, earthquakes, tsunami and/or flooding;

-        Acts of countries - acts of war, invasion, acts of terror, blockade, embargo, riot, public disorder, civil commotion and/or sabotage; and/or

-        Acts of workers - strike, lock outs, work stoppage and/or industrial action.

 

Tolerances, Construction and Fabric

Each Maple Hatton garment is made to the exact measurement specifications entered by the customer at the time of ordering. An allowance of a certain amount of additional fabric is made to each shirt during the construction to compensate for shrinkage that may occur when the shirt is initially washed. Please keep this in mind when trying on the shirt for the first time if it hasn’t yet been washed.

 

Due to the nature of Cotton and it being a natural fibre combined with the normal variations in the dyeing process of our fabrics shirts may differ slightly from those advertised on the website.

 

Security and customer information

Maple Hatton believes the privacy of its customer’s personal details is of the utmost importance and Maple Hatton will make every effort to protect this information. Under no circumstances will Maple Hatton sell this personal information to third parties.

 

Additionally customers should exercise care to protect their own personal information whilst using the website by using a strong password and not sharing their personal login information with anyone.

 

Fit Guarantee

Alterations

Maple Hatton will make a one time contribution to the cost of alteration for each customer’s first order for each garment type. The Fit Guarantee does not cover minor discrepancies within our tolerances (described above in Tolerances, Construction and Fabrics) or if the delivered product is to the exact specifications of the product ordered.

 

If your garment requires only minor alterations to ensure a perfect fit, Maple Hatton will make a maximum total contribution of up to AU $20 to cover the cost of having your garments altered. Please note that if the cost of alteration exceeds the maximum total contribution amount the customer will need to cover the difference. 

 

To claim your eligible alteration costs please follow these steps:

 

1.     Have the required alterations made at a local tailor of your choice within 3 weeks of receiving your garments;

2.     Upload the receipt/invoice from the tailor and complete the online form by logging into your account; and

3.     Once approved Maple Hatton will credit your bank account (Australian customers only) with the alteration costs up to the maximum total contribution amount. Our International customers will receive the alteration costs up to the maximum total contribution amount credited to their PayPal Account only. Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to credit to Non-Australian bank accounts yet.

 

Remakes

If you believe your garments cannot be corrected by alteration by a local tailor please log into your account and upload photos (front on and side view) of you wearing the garments. If approved, please ship the garment within 7 days of approval to the below address and Maple Hatton with remake the garments free of cost.

 

The customer is responsible for the garments until Maple Hatton has taken delivery of them, we therefore recommend that any garments returned for remaking are return using tracked shipping.


Please note remakes need to be for the same identical item and be of equal or lesser value as the original.

Refunds

Given that our garments are bespoke and made to measure they cannot be resold to anyone else. We unfortunately cannot provide refunds for returned garments.
